flyjh Your Airways ordered 777-200LR

Today is a historic day when the flyjh – Your Airways has placed an order for a brand new Boeing 777-200LR. Its delivery deppends on PMDGs ability to get it airworthy as soon as possible, but we are waiting for it. New type will give our pilots a change to fly to far away holiday destinations all over the world from Far-East to Oceania.

flyjh has been rebranded as “flyjh – Your Airways”

Estonian only active virtual airline has been rebranded and now know as “flyjh – Your Airways”. We also moved our operations to a new hub – London Gatwick airport. It is one of the busiest airports in VATSIM world with an extremely high rate of ATC coverage. UK2000 Gatwick scenery with Aerosoft AES gives our pilots a unique experience with high level of visual graphics quality with great ground handling support. In March 2012 we also got our new aircraft type Boeing 737-900 (PMDG NGX) up and running. A complete redesign of our Intranet is in progress.

Our first Boeing 737-900 ES-JBA is finally ready and will arrive to the base after final tests have been carried out. It is the first brand new aircraft to enter flyjh-s fleet. We hope to see a huge positive impact on our economical stats due to lower fuel burn and better passenger experience. Our new aircraft have extended range capabilities, SATCOM connection, ETOPS sertification, sky interior, short field takeoff perfomance package and other improvements. Other two 737s (ES-JBB and ES-JBC) are expected to be ready in forthcoming weeks.

flyjh – Your Airway operates to a several holiday and business destinations all over the Europe. Flights are one and half up to five hours long and are flown according to our flight schedules. flyjh – Your Airways operates from London Gatwick airport. New HUB is availavle since april 2012, before that we have been operating from Tartu, Dortmund and Hamburg. London was chosen by our management due to extremely good UK2000 scenry and high ATC coverage rate by VATSIM UK.

We choose our destinations and hubs based on scenery availability and quality, ATC coverage on VATSIM, traffic volume and our personal preferences. We have been operating to several destinations all over the world from St.Maarten in Carribean to Yekaterinburg in Russia. Our charter flights, not listed here,  include all imaginable destinations all over the world. These charter destinations are available for our pilots as a bonus destinations based on theire activity. We also fly to the destinations where some events are taken place – this includes VATSIM events and real life events, like Eurovision, Oscar gala etc.

Foreword

Your Airways history dates back to the end of the year 2007, when the founders of  Your Airways (then known as JH Air) discovered the wonderful Maddog 2006. Since then, the Your Airways has went through several changes that have made us the biggest active virtual aviation related service provider in Estonia.

Today, Your Airways is a virtual airline, based in London, Gatwick UK. Founded in 2008, Your Airways is the first independent and longest running virtual airline run by Estonians. Our fleet includes MD82 type airplanes modelled by the Leonardo Software House S.r.l. and Boeing 737-900 NGX modelled by PMDG. We operate to various destinations all over the Europe, Mediterranean and North Africa. All flights are made in VATSIM network and operated as real as possible using the latest charts, scenery, real operation manuals and procedures.Your Airways is organized according to stringent EASA regulation, valid in the European airspace, since Estonia is a member of the European Aviation Safety Agency.  As safety and a professional attitude are some of the foremost principles of our operation, fulfilling these serious requirements is easy for us. Our goal is to maintain ourselves as the leading virtual scheduled, charter and VIP flight operator for Estonian virtual pilots. Concept Now

Since Estonia has a total population only about 1,3 billion people, we are not a big airline and will never be.  Due to that fact, Your airways is an airline mainly focused on our pilots needs. That means that we are trying to take care of our pilots wishes about fleet, destinations, etc. At the same time, we are trying to “be” a some sort a realistic airline – if we have 10 pilots, we can not have a 10 different aircraft types in the fleet. We try to focus on less types but with a depth – we have aircraft type related procedures for airports that have restricted runways, mountains nearby or some other sort of “individualities”.

For our “virtual clients” we are a small relatively low cost airline – something between ryanair and Singapore airlines. At the same time, we want to have our passengers a unique journey with some humoristic occasions – something like “fresh” airlines from the TV series “Mile High”.

Villu Uus

Villu is the person who keeps an eye on the flyJH operations. He is studing finance and economys in the University and despite the cold hard truth that he is not a Flight Simulator fan, he still knows the main facts and details about virtual aviation industry. He has been with flyJH since the beginning.

Heigo Tomba

Heigo has studied as an air traffic controller and is now working in the business aviation industry. He has been using Flight Simulator since the autumn of 2001 and has logged more than 4000 hours on different aircraft types. His Main role is to keep flyJH going.

Rein Mölder

Rein joined flyJH in 2009 and has been one of our most active pilots. His main job is to organize everyday operations of flyJH. Rein is one of the oldest and most hounored members of Estonian virtual aviation community. He works as an finincial director in real life.

Paavo Pihelgas

Paavo has used MSFS series since the … previous century. He is talented in creating mind blowing scenery’s and add-ons to Flight Simulators. He prefers to fly offline, but he is well know in virtual Estonian aviation community. Paavo is studying history in the Tartu University.

The minimum qualifications are:

 
-Total time 250hrs on VATSIM network*
-You must have a JH Group approved payware aircraft (check fleet page)
-At least 16 years old
-Valid Email Address
-Strong written and verbal communications skills in english

* – May be less hrs on VATSIM under some circumstances

Aircraft Repainting

JH Group has a long history of painting aircraft from default Cessna 172 to PMDG 747. JH Group is know for its high quiality and cutting edge design solutions. If You have any special painting requests, please contact us, and maybe we can help.

Scenery Design

JH Group has upgraded several Estonian sceneries to be more accurate and up to date. All scenery upgrades are done in cooperation with scenery genius Mr Paavo Pihelgas. Some of the latest works can be found here.

Events

JH Group has played a key role in organizeing many virtual aviation related events in Estonia. Starting with virtual fly-ins and ATC events, while ending with meetings and conferences.

Training
